Franco's, formerly known as Bar Italia, is situated on Castle Street in the heart of Liverpool. Opened in 1999 by proprietor Franco Colangeli, Franco's has established itself as one of the most popular and well-regarded restaurants in the North West.
Lunchtimes are always busy with a range of diners either wanting a quick bowl of pasta during their lunch-hour or business people meeting for a working lunch. In contrast, the evenings are a little more relaxed with people arriving for an early evening dinner after work or a night out with someone special. Franco's cuisine consists of fresh fish, meat and poultry cooked in the traditional Italian way, along with freshly cooked pasta dishes, which form the basis of a wide-ranging menu. All the main courses are prepared with freshly made sauces and are served with fresh seasonal vegetables. You can even choose to have your dish plain and unadorned. It is also possible to choose from a selection of seasonal special dishes.
Diners may also choose to match any sauce with any pasta of their choice.
